Spring Programme 2010
Indoor meetings begin at 7.30 pm in the Lounge of the , South Parade, unless otherwise stated. Outdoor meetings normally end by 4.30-5 pm, but finishing times and distances of outdoor meetings are approximate.
Please check with the Secretary or the Leader before attending an outdoor meeting, since these may have to be cancelled or changed.
Please feel free to ring the Secretary if you have any queries or have difficulty in getting to a meeting.
Because of the adverse weather, the Committee were not able to meet to finalize the outdoor meetings in the Spring Programme. Details of these will be available at meetings and will on this web site later.

| Sun, 7 Mar 2010 | Walk on Brindley Heath, Cannock Chase. Meet at 2pm in the Car Park of the Visitor Centre, off Brindley Heath Road/Marquis Drive (OS: ). One possible route from Sutton Coldfield is to take the A5 from Brownhills to Cannock; turn north on the B4154 to join the A460 north (be careful to take the right exit at the 5-way roundabout on the B4154); just as you are about to leave Hednesford on the A460, turn left after Chase Car Sales, signposted to the station, then immediately after crossing the railway line, turn right into Brindley Heath Road. The visitor centre is well signposted. If there is space, park in the bays in the roads outside the centre. The walk is about 1.5 miles. Leader: Peter Coxhead. |

| Sun, 9 May 2010 | Walk in Hartshill Hayes Country Park. Meet in the Visitor Centre at 2pm (OS: ). At the large roundabout on the A5 bypass just leaving Atherstone, turn south onto the B4111. Just after the B4111 turns under a railway line, keep straight onto the minor road to Hartshill. In Hartshill, turn right onto Oldbury Road; the Visitor Centre is on the right hand side. There is a car park fee (£1.50 according to the website). Leader: Mich Moore. |

Visitors are welcome at any meeting, indoors or out. A nominal charge of £1 is made for an indoor meeting.
